This year we have been blessed with fans. Cathy Cantey is a unique donor. She has been bringing us fans in the summer and blankets in the winter for the past 6 years and was featured on News 13 in June. Her interview with Rusty Ray brought awareness of the need for fans and our generous donors responded. The Christian Family Sunday School Class at Central United Methodist Church gave us a contribution to purchase 15 fans for seniors. We also received a donation from the Sunshine Club of Pisgah UMC for fans. Individuals stopped by with fans or donated funds which they earmarked for the purchase of fans. Because of your generosity, we have been able to offer them to those in need of relief from the stifling record temperatures.
