Verna Moore is Honored

One of Lighthouse Ministries volunteers, Verna Moore, was recently honored at the Senior Citizens Association of Florence County and the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program’s 30th annual recognition luncheon. She received a plaque for the Most Service Hours “In appreciation of your service to the community”, and a gift certificate.

Verna is usually at her desk in our front office unless she is with her grandchildren. Her record keeping and file management skills, as well as her dedication to the ministry are valuable contributions. She has been a volunteer for Lighthouse Ministries for the past 11 years. In 2007 alone she gave a total of 1020 hours.

After years of teaching, Verna continues to give to others in her community. It’s an honor to work with her.
