Armstrong Wealth Management has presented Lighthouse Ministries with a check for $13,981.
As a Christian firm, Armstrong Wealth Management Group places a high priority on giving back to the community. The firm takes great pride in contributing both time and financial resources to improving the quality of life within the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. They have taken a pledge to contribute 2% of gross revenue to charitable organizations, with half (1%) going to their major cause, Lighthouse Ministries, to make a larger impact within the local community.

People ask us all the time what it is that we do. Come and join us for lunch! Our tours are held the third Thursday of the month from 12 to 1pm. Our summer and fall schedule for 2011 is:

September 15th
October 20th

We invite you to attend to see firsthand what we do here in our community. There is no charge but we do ask you to register. Lunch is provided by the Methodist Manor and we promise to limit it to one hour. This is an informative tour, not a solicitation for donations. We would love to have you. Phone 629-0830 to register or email joannking@spiritcom.net.

On June 14th Lighthouse Ministries held our Annual Illumination Luncheon at the Floyd Center at Carolinas Hospital to honor the volunteers and supporters who make possible our service to the community.

We were honored to have Dr. Allie Brooks, Jr., Interim Superintendent of Schools as our speaker.
