Medical Technology Service Program

Through the support of United Way of Florence County, Lighthouse Ministries has been able to provide the funds necessary to enable the freedom of mobility to disabled participants. Lighthouse Ministries offers the supplies necessary to build ramps, handrails, install or make repairs to van lifts and hand controls for those who are not able to provide these services for themselves.

Lighthouse Ministries started this new and exciting program in April of this year. We have received several inquiries about the program through which we have been able to offer assistance to eleven participants, seven of whom now have new ramps.

The following are required to receive assistance:
• Picture ID
• SS card
• Proof of ownership (of home or vehicle)
• Completed landlord statement
• Completed release agreement
